Champlain Farms Exxon and 24-Hour Hot and Cold Deli

Champlain Farms Exxon and 24-Hour Hot and Cold Deli

The 24-hour hot and cold homemade delicious food deli sets Champlain Farms apart from its competition down the street.

Champlain Farms coffee is excellent during high-volume hours, but late night is on the Montpelier Coffee Watch List.

Like their competition, the store has gasoline and all the stuff you need to get through till the morning, when Shaw's and other larger stores open.

Gesine's

Gesine's coffee is so awesome, some say it's better than any other coffee in town!

Bakery and gourmet market serving espresso, pies and pastries, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and fresh roasted coffee.

Montpelier Has Awesome Coffee

When considering the coffee reviews provided by Montpelier Life, please bear in mind, Montpelier has no bad coffee. All the bad stuff has been run out of town.

Our Capital's gold dome, and legislators who work under it, inspire the greatest possible coffee excellence.

Even late-night coffee in convenience stores bears pride of workmanship and freshness.

Perhaps it is the Subaru-driving, WDEV-listening public demanding the quality, no one really knows. All that can be said for sure is, "Montpelier coffee is good, except when it's old, in which case a fresh pot will be brewed whenever you need it."

So, when you see us say that coffee in a certain location is reliable, please understand, the coffee can be counted upon to be absolutely delicious.

Thank you for your consideration.

Weekday Coffee

Capital Grounds Awesome Coffee, Montpelier, Vermont

Weekdays, great coffee is served at Coffee Corner, Capital Grounds, Langdon Street Cafe, McGillicudy's, any gas station, Village Pizza, Girasole's... basically anyplace you find hot coffee in Montpelier, it's going to be awesome. Bad coffee has been run out of town.

Occasionally, you might have to mention that a pot looks empty or stale, especially in night scenarios, where coffee traffic is low. When this happens, be brave. Usually, Montpelier coffee providers will brew a pot up special for you.

24-hour coffee

Shaw's

While Shaw's coffee is fresh, it's a brew-your-own scenario. You can brew a fresh cup in their coffee vending machine.

Shaw's, of course, is a full grocery store. The city should pay tribute to Shaw's staff for their perfect, consistent service. It is easy taking their work for granted, but they do an outstanding job on a small margin. Experts in meats, produce, and a lot of other areas go into making our modest store run so smoothly.

Cumberland Farms

24-hour coffee.

Lower-priced cigarettes sets this 24-hour location apart from its competition down the street.

Cumberland Farms coffee is good.

Like their competition, the store has gasoline and all the stuff you need to get through till the morning, when Shaw's and other larger stores open.

Village Pizza

Village Pizza fulfills it's responsibility of providing fresh, local pizza at a reasonable price, in any quantity and topping. If it were not for Village Pizza, we might be dealing more with Domino's.

All Montpelier pizzerias provide free delivery to downtown locations.

La Brioché

Knowing about La Brioché makes you cool. Arrive before 9am, or you can pretty much forget about the chocolate croissants; they will be gone.

La Brioché serves many flavors of coffee.

La Brioché pastries, cakes, scones, muffins, etc. are delicious.

McGillicuddy's

McGillicuddy's Irish Pub is a replica of 15 Irish drinking holes in Boston, morphed into a comfortable Montpelier location. If you come on roller skates or you just won Powerball, you can park in front. Otherwise, park as close as you can, pack into the pub, order your Guiness and fries, watch the Red Sox, Yankees, Giants, and Patriots all at the same time on their array of televisions.

Typical bar coffee, but coffee probably is not your reason for going to McGillicuddy's.

When the 2004 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox sent the World Series Tropy to Vermont, McGillicuddy's was the fortunate host.
