Montpelier Life Dot Com (www.montpelierlife.com) is an experiment in citizen journalism. The goal is to provide a useful website for information about Montpelier, Vermont.
MONTPELIER DIRECTORY
A small ton of data needs to be gathered and loaded into the database housing the information displayed in this website. A basic goal is to provide the best possible Montpelier directory, without invading anyone's privacy. All Montpelier commercial and government entities are to be included in a manner suitable to their existing public profile. Groups, clubs, churches, etc. will have their information published. Private individuals are not listed.
Beyond the directory, another goal is to create realistic portraits of living, working, and visiting Montpelier. This site is trying to bring as much of the real Montpelier world to the internet as possible.
So, please expect a complete directory for the city, but also video, audio, and written presentations of life in Montpelier, Vermont. The site is open to comment throughout, which may provide further information of special interest.
