Not just anyone is good enough at their trade to lay hands on the spectacular renovation taking place at the corner of School Street and Loomis, across from the elementary school.

Hans is part of a brave new wave of people adding to the old New England population. Even though he has been in Vermont for four years, he still is orienting himself to the ways of our community, where there are so few of us that the rules of survival are completely different. His smile and work ethic, and the reputation of his business are enough for him to earn his way. Meanwhile, he still is getting to know the ways of his new neighbors, who basically are honest, straight forward, and all the great things we all came to Vermont to find and build.
